and it worked yeah!! So...how do I catch up on so many months? Hmmmm.....had a great
spring, finished up school in great shape. Actually kept up some school throughout the summer
which was a dream of mine for many years so I was really excited to have the intention and follow
through to do it! The boys didn't complain too much either, we had a ton of fun also so there
was good balance.
We took our family vacation in South Dakota this summer during the 1 week between baseball
and football. We had a great time and the boys really enjoyed seeing the sights. Emily did great
with all the driving around and we had just some sweet family time together in the car and at the hotels.
What wonderful memories!
My mom came to visit in May and again just a couple of weeks ago. We have had such great visits! And she was here to see the boys play baseball, football, run track, confirmation, perform in their co-op show, and many, many other special events. She even tried Caribou coffee for the first time and loved it. :)
Now we have started a whole new school year. Jeremy is in 9th grade so his studies are quite
hard, serious, and keeps him really busy. Ryan is in 6th grade and he is working hard and
learning so many new things it's great. We are going over American History this year and it's so fun
to go over that together! Emily is doing some preschool this year even though she's only 2. She
loves the crafts and is ready for some cute little coloring pages with big numbers and letters on them.
She also loves to watch Dora the Explorer and it is helping her with her speaking. Plus she's learning some Spanish...bonus!
I am working hard to keep up with everything, including all of our extra activities and food allergies.
Jeremy has allergies to dairy and egg, and I have allergies to wheat and dairy so it can get interesting.
I have good recipes and it's not overwhelming, but can just be more work than it was.
Hmmmm....I guess it didn't take me that long to update you after all! Here are some pictures from the last few months, I hope you enjoy them all, and it's sooo good to be back in the blogging business!
