I just love posting new pictures to share with you! I hope you don't mind....

Hope you enjoy!

Summer's over already?? :(

Ahhh, it's so hard to say goodbye to my favorite time of the year! Why does it have to go so fast! I do have to admit that it has been an awesome summer though! The weather has been good and hot, haven't had to water the grass once-yeah!-and have done so many fun things in addition to watching my baby grow and discover summer things. Here's a quick run down of our summer: trip to Michigan, trip to Iowa, several trips to the beach here, a couple trips to Lake Michigan, a trip to the Wisconsin Dells, a camping trip, welcomed a dog into our family,
wonderful play times with friends, garage sale-ing, swimming in pools, countless baseball games, football practices, running, beautiful sunrises/sunsets, bbq's, spinkler, slip and slide (I even tried it this year!), ice cream, nature hikes, the ice cream man at our house, walks to the park with neighbors, canning tons of fresh Colorado peaches, all that and more! Yes, it's been a great summer. Now it's time to finish cleaning up the school room, open up the new curriculum, figure out how to use it, teehee, and start another educational year with my kids. May we all learn a lot and have a lot of fun doing so. Cheers!

Bees!

We visited a bee farm today, how interesting! I learned a lot about bees!
If you don't know much about bees, I encourage you to go the library or the website and
research them, they are facinating. So is the art of raising them. I want to run a bee
farm! :) Okay Jeff???? Okay?????
Here are some pictures from today, the boys also made beeswax candles. Enjoy. :)

Trip to IA!

How's your summer going?? Ours is trucking right along and I'm not ready to embrace the approaching fall months just yet. Although it has been a hot summer, that's for sure- love it!

School curriculum has been purchased and the thought of a fresh new school year is exciting to me. BUT there are so many more projects that I want to get to before school starts! Photo albums, home movie organizing, painting...on and on and on. We'll see, if I get one of these at least started I guess that is good considering we have an almost 6 month old this summer to love and enjoy as well.

We just got back from IA to visit my mom and sister, it was a lot of fun! The boys are starting football next week, pray for no broken bones. :) Emily is rolling over as of this week and eating yummy homemade baby food and crackers and drinking water from a small cup. Jeff is doing great and getting healthier every day!

Lovin' my family! :)
